Research Participation

In order to obtain credit for your research participation, you must do the following for each study you participate in: You must obtain the signature of the researcher on the form below AND you must answer the questions below. You should write the answers to the questions on a separate sheet, but be sure to label your answers with the name of the researcher. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE EXTRA CREDIT WITHOUT THE APPROPRIATE SIGNATURES ON THIS FORM (AND ANSWERS TO THE QUESTIONS).

Please have the researcher sign this form and indicate how long the research session lasted. Also, you must answer the following three questions (for each study) on a separate sheet:

What was the main research question (hypothesis) being studied?
What primary methodology was used (case study, observational study, survey, experiment)?
What area of psychology (e.g., developmental, cognitive, social) seems most relevant to this topic?
Critically evaluate the study: were the methods appropriate; what are some limitations?
