    • October 26, 2007.  Students and a faculty member of the department presented at the Indiana Academy of Science on October 26, 2007.

      April Schweinhart, Brianna Raatz,. and Jennifer Braun presented The effects of color, context congruence, and interference on short term memory.
      Rachel Yates, Amanda Ernstberger, & Karla Roberts '07 presented Effect of stimulus type and length on short-term recognition.
      John Krantz & Elizabeth Tuck '07 presented A complex view of the primary visual cortex (V1).  
    • It is with deep sadness, that the psychology department learned of the passing of Mary Shupert Duncan '98, Monday, October 22 at 8:45 after a courageous battle with a brain tumor.  Expressions of sympathy may be made to her husband, Leslie Duncan '97, at duncan5712@comcast.net.

    • Chris Wolfe '00 just successfully defended his dissertation at Georgia State University.  His dissertation was titled: Motor Control and Reading Fluency: Contributions Beyond Phonological Awareness and Rapid Automatized Naming in Children with Reading Disabilities.
      He is teaching as a visiting professor there this year.  Congratulations!
