The Basics of Waves

Brief description and instructions (DRAFT):

Illustration of the wave description of light.  Waves have two primary parameters that define the particular wave: intensity and wavelength.  Sliders at the bottom of the screen allow you to adjust these two parameters.  The Show Wavelength and Show Intensity buttons at the bottom of the screen draw lines on the screen to show what these parameters indicate. Intensity is a vertical green line and the first complete wave showing on wavelength is in red.  The intensity of the curve of the wave is related to the intensity as well.
