Skin Senses Testing I: Relative Pressure Sensitivity
•Materials and Apparatus: von Frey-type aesthesiometer
•Procedure:
–Press bristle until it flexes slightly.  Hold for 2 seconds
–Then subject report whether they can feel it or not
–Use MOL: 3 ascending and 3 descending staircases
–8 sites:  volar pad of index finger, pack of hand, top of forearm, bottom of forearm, lips cheek, back of neck and calf
•Results
–Graph and compare to data in text.  What is most sensitive?  Why?
